After joining: Stripe emails your payment receipt, and your membership is connected to one residential service address.
First visit: Request the initial inspection online during an available arrival window or call (831) 625-0404.
Home record: Your tier, completed benefits, findings, recommendations, and next due date are tracked.
Renewal: Monthly plans renew until canceled. Annual paid-in-full plans provide 12 months of membership.
Scheduling, holidays, and time away
Priority scheduling means members are offered preference over nonmembers requesting service of similar urgency. It does not guarantee same-day, after-hours, weekend, or holiday service and does not override previously scheduled work.
Service is subject to availability. Mark's Sewer & Drain may close or limit scheduling for holidays, vacations, illness, severe weather, emergencies, unsafe conditions, or other reasonable operational needs. After-hours, weekend, and holiday work—when available—may carry overtime or other additional charges.
Included maintenance benefits
Included inspections, camera work, cleaning, or maintenance must be scheduled and completed while the membership is active. We may send reminders, but the member is responsible for choosing an available appointment. Unused benefits have no cash value and do not roll over into a later membership term.
What remains separately billed
The $175 minimum billable service charge applies to billable work unless a listed plan benefit specifically waives it. Repairs, replacement parts, active stoppages, inaccessible plumbing, specialty cutting blades, excavation, permits, code corrections, restoration, and work beyond a plan's stated scope are separately authorized and billed. Member discounts apply only where expressly listed and cannot be combined with other promotions.
A waived after-hours call-out fee does not waive overtime labor rates. Membership and preventive maintenance do not guarantee that a breakdown, leak, backup, root intrusion, or other plumbing problem will not occur.
Access and property conditions
Membership covers one residential service address and requires reasonable access to the covered plumbing. The member must disclose known hazards and provide safe, sanitary working conditions. Extra work needed to gain access, protect the property, or address concealed or pre-existing defects is not included unless stated in writing.
Payment, renewal, and cancellation
Monthly memberships are recurring subscriptions charged each month until canceled. Annual memberships are paid in full for a 12-month term. Any required renewal or price-change notice will be provided as required by law.
Members may cancel before the next renewal using any cancellation option provided with Stripe billing communications or by calling (831) 625-0404. Cancellation stops future renewals; amounts already paid for the current period are non-refundable except where required by law. Enrollment fees become non-refundable after the initial inspection is performed.
Missed visits, misuse, and respectful conduct
Mark's Sewer & Drain may refuse service or cancel a membership for nonpayment, misuse of benefits, repeated missed appointments, fraud, unsafe or unsanitary conditions, threats, harassment, abusive conduct, or repeated demands outside the membership's stated benefits. If the company ends a prepaid membership for reasons unrelated to member conduct or nonpayment, any refund due for the unused portion will be handled fairly and as required by law.
These terms work together with the benefits and exclusions shown in the plan cards and comparison table. If a specific written plan benefit conflicts with a general statement here, the more specific written benefit controls.
